your handkerchief and now Nicos Engonopolous must come to dinner. You forgot your handkerchief and now the two red feet must dance a strange ballet. How has the human mind changed in a century? It has more grass and dogs and the birds are stronger because they are not prophets they prophecy nothing only their belief in the sun, and we live with that in our happy AirBnbs our SUVs and the righteousness of things which slowly fade from view because we need to live and that means socks and handkerchiefs for the spasmodic actions of the hour the strokes of time as they wash by that means the banks stay open just for us because they want money to continue to exist and the markets to stay open to sell lamb and even if there are no more eggplants there will always be perfumeries holding something in front of our noses and the man next store will always slam the lid shut and walk away wearing a strange shirt.
